This is an announcement to introduce the debut release from singledout, a project led by Adam Macbain, a multi-talented instrumentalist & vocalist from Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Adam and his bandmates (Tim Doucet & Ian McLaren) have reformed to put together ‘Better Alone’, an EP filled with angst, sorrow, and most importantly perseverance, this exceptionally personal release defines many common themes that everyone can identify with. This crisp sound on this release was produced and engineered by Tim Doucet, who also contributes his drumming expertise, lending some of his technical ability to ‘Better Alone’. To complement the trifecta guitarist/bassist Ian McLaren churns out some technically sound guitar, and as well contributes some bass to the record.. This EP contains six tracks, from the crushing guitars and melodic harmonics on ‘Anymore/Before’ to the last chords of the appropriately titled ‘Last Song’, singledout will run you through the gamut of the human condition.
